Mcvetys heart hand home
Peter and Susan McVety opened the Bangor and Augusta
locations in June, 2010. We opened the Yarmouth location in
May 2011.
The owners are focused on quality products at competitive
prices while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction.
Pete and Susan are both Mainer’s, Pete from Southwest Harbor
and Susan from York. Susan graduated from USM and taught
school in Maine before marrying Pete. Pete graduated from
Maine Maritime Academy, joined the Navy, and he and Susan
spent the next 24 years trying to figure out how to get back to
Maine!
McVety’s Hearth and Home has no connection to Finest Hearth,
Inc, that filed for bankruptcy in Jan 2011.
